Movies have evolved immensely over time. Since Marvel and Sony Pictures introduced the Spiderman franchise in 1999, people have been connecting with their inner comic book geek hoping that the universe that is Marvel would appease them with that character and bless them with their own franchise. Marvel has been accommodating to an extent by dipping into their universe and producing few film franchises like X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, and the Fantastic Four to name a few, with Thor, Captain America, and The Avengers coming soon. Most of the films were widely successful, having more than one film made with their respected franchise. With the Marvel Universe expanding almost daily, it leaves many “true believers” as they call fans wondering when or if Marvel will come out with a film based on their favorite franchise or character that they’re following.

Marvel has many choices to choose from, but what about the characters that have followers? Which characters would be a good starting point for another Marvel mega-franchise. With innovations in technology in film and cinematography, making movies based on superheroes have become a lot easier to make then they would have twenty or so years ago, which would make the experience better for movie lovers and comic book geeks alike.

Here is a list of five Marvel franchises that would make great movies if not franchises and some celebrities that would make a good fit for the lead role(s).
