G Force Comics
Teaching the letter G to kindergarten students (and younger) is easy with these fun letter G activities and preschool alphabet crafts. Not only do they teach the alphabet, they introduce kids to subjects from geography to science.
Growing Grass for Letter Learning
Grass seed is inexpensive and grows easily and quickly, making it optimal for an alphabet recognition lesson on the letter G. Both grass and grow start with G. Provide each child with a cup or container of dirt. Using their index finger, make a letter G in the dirt (younger children will need help). Put the grass seed in the shape they've made and cover it up, and the grass will begin to grow in a letter G!
Letter G Lesson Plan Grapes Activity
Grapes are a fruit that begins with G. Probably all of the children have had grapes before, but do they know how they grow? Show them a picture of a grapevine, then talk about the different varieties (colors) of grapes.
